| Recipe_Title = WW Coconut-Macadamia Kisses Ingredients = Coconut,Macadamias,eggs,sugar CookingTime = 40 minutes recipe = Coconut-Macadamia Kisses Makes 18 servings 3 egg white (at room temp) Pinch of salt 1/2 cup sugar 1/4 cup shredded coconut 1 teaspoon coconut extract 18 macadamia nuts, halved Preheat oven to 250 F. Line baking sheet with parchment paper or foil. In a medium bowl, with an electric mixer on medium speed, combine the egg whites and salt; beat until foamy. Gradually beat in sugar, beating until the egg whites are shiny and stiff peaks form. With rubber spatula, fold in the coconut and coconut extract. Spoon Meringue into pastery bag fitted with large star tip (My Aunt said she has made these with a large ziploc with a corner cut off...they don't have the star shape but still came out fine!) Pipe 36 rosettes onto the baking sheet. Place a macadamia half in the center of each. Bake until the edges begin to dry and the kisses are lightly browned, about 40 minutes. Turn off the oven and let kisses dry completely in the oven til crisp, at least 3 hours or overnight. Peel the paper or foil from the kises. Store in airtight container.
